Situated in the Baie-des-Chaleurs, in the heart of picturesque Bonaventure village, Riôtel Château Blanc offers a calm and relaxed ambiance. Originally built in 1906, it was originally a summer residence for Quebec's business elite and American salmon anglers. To this day, the Château Blanc still perpetuates the Acadian tradition with 32 rooms with two double beds that can accommodate quad occupancy based on sharing existing beds, as well as complete bathroom, television with cable, telephone and coffeemaker. The air conditioned dining room is known for its excellent local seafood and there is also Chateau's Pub - a seaside bar and terrace. The hotel also provides meeting rooms and free parking. Kayaking and canoeing in the ocean or Bonaventure river, swimming at the private beach, hiking, mountain biking, salmon fishing, golf, horseback riding, dog sledding and snowmobiling are all available nearby. Riôtel Château Blanc is open from May to October.
